House-moving is a long and stressful process, but putting in the time and effort will pay-off when it comes to the big day.  Planning will ensure you have plenty of time to gather together the necessary packing materials, find a reliable and affordable removal company and still leave enough time for you to make a good job of packing up your home. However, things don’t necessarily work out as easy as that, and you could find yourself in a situation that requires you to have your whole house ready and packed in a matter of days. If you’re moving furniture with you then remove the drawers beforehand. Drawers can be filled with the odd bits you have, and they can easily be stacked on-top of one another to ensure safe travel.-    Suitcases. Suitcases are a great way to move not only clothes, but also heavier or bulkier items such as books or files. Suitcases make it easy to drag heavy loads, and it’s likely your friends and family can lend you their suitcases to give you a bit of help!2)    Enlist the help of friends and family to give you a hand when it comes to loading and unloading your possessions. 3)    Ideally you want to have invested some time in researching removal companies to find the best available prices and so as to avoid scams. However, if you haven’t got the time then cut down on your chances of getting duped by hiring a company through your local phone book, or on the recommendation of friends. Be aware that removal companies receive bookings way in advance, so you might struggle to find yourself a man with a van! If you’re lucky enough to find yourself the help, many removal companies might charge you extra for the late notice, so don’t forget to ask about hidden charges!
